The Gramicci Story. Built for the outdoors

Mike Graham, one of the Stonemasters, used his design skills to create the first true climbing shorts.

Graham added a diamond-shaped gusset to the crotch of the shorts for 180-degree flexibility and used hard-wearing canvas for durability. To keep the shorts secure, a nylon webbing belt was integrated into the waist, allowing for easy adjustments with one hand. These shorts were so popular that Gramicci was founded in 1982, taking its name from a moniker Graham had given himself.
